Your One Month Action Plan for an Amazing Virtual Holiday Party

Posted by Natalie Simmons on Nov 11, 2020 11:30:00 AM

This year, it feels as if time is both standing still and flying at the same time. So it's hard to believe, but we're already two weeks into November. I know. Try to catch your breath.

I don't mean to rush you, but that also means that December—and this year's virtual company holiday party—are right around the corner. So, if you're feeling a little overwhelmed and behind, now isn't the time to worry. Now is the time to take action!

This is your OPERATION: HOLIDAY PARTY One Month Action Plan.

Here we go, team. You got this. And we've got your back.

WEEK 1: Make contact.

Have you reached out to the vendor you want to work with? Because planning and pulling off a virtual holiday party is no small feat. You're going to want to find a partner that can bring engaging and interactive activities AND have the technology chops to back it up.

So if you haven't already reached out and started the conversation, make sure you do that this week. Actually, why not reach out right now???

WEEK 2: Sign the contract.

Don't let the contract linger in legal only to find your ideal date, time, or activities have been snatched up by some other company that was quicker on the draw.

To ensure your event is successful, you'll want to be decisive about the activities, your budget, and then stay on top of the finance team to set the wheels in motion!

THANKSGIVING WEEK: Finalize the plan.

It's a short week and you're probably a little distracted by the idea of turkey, stuffing, and delicious pies. So, let's not get too crazy. But you'll want to review the details and have everything locked in so you don't have to stress when December rolls around.

A good event partner should be able to whip up a plan to make your life much easier. Now that's something to be thankful for.

FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER: Holiday hype up!

In the first week of December, you'll notice your team's mood will start to change. They'll be merry and bright as they start getting into that holiday spirit. So, why not strike when the cocoa is hot?

Have you sent your team their invites? Have you communicated the list of options they can choose from? Have you started feeling the buzz and the positive vibes that are emanating from your team? Check, check, and check.

EVENT WEEK: Enjoy the party!

As a virtual events partner, we pride ourselves on making sure that the hard-working, amazing event organizers like you don't have to waste energy worrying about whether the event will go smoothly... You made it all happen, so we want you to enjoy the fun too.

On the big day, we want you to be part of the holiday party magic, knowing the activities are perfect, the Zoom rooms are coordinated, and the team is in great hands.

Ready to take action and start planning? We are SO ready to help. But don't wait until tomorrow... time is ticking!
